Dismissed for lack of prosecution...

Yup readers...the title says it all! Court went very well, Here is the story.
I left work around noon so that I would have plenty of time to get there and wait until called into trial. I was freaking out pretty bad so I pulled out my awesome iphone and played a little bit of bewjeweled to calm my nerves...and by george it was working.....Until.....The unhappy indian man sitting next to me felt that he had to talk and complain about how bad and stupid our country was. I was so annoyed and gave him pretty much every sign I could in a polite way for him to see that I wasn't interested in chatting. At last..the doors flew open and the baliff walked out to call us in. Yes! Wait NO! the nerves came back and we were marched into the large room with at least 20 police man on the right side of the room. We sat down and paper work was passed around. The small but boisterous baliff continued to tell us what to do and what was about to happen to us all. The clerk entered and started to call roll call. She would call our names and the cop that pulled us over. If the police man didn't answer then we were to stand up and move to the first two rows of the court room. I was the last one to be called, out of around 30 people. I loudly said "Present" and waited for the call of the cop. Nothing. WAHOO! I stood up and moved to the front of the room but still remained stressed and nervous. We were told to stand up to be sworn into court and had to tell the reason for our ticket. Then the judge entered. We all were seated and she started to read names from a small stack of papers...it was "us" the small group fortunate ones whom did not have a cop present. she read off everyone but me, my heart began to race and that small panic was creeping back. The clerk had my paper still and had forgotten to give it to the judge. The judge looked at my paper and read my name..then said "Charges dismissed for lack of prosecution!"
I breathed a sigh of relief and had to sit anxiously while the others stood pleading their case. It was so scary...I hate being in trouble for anything! After what felt like forever the bailiff handed me my paper and said you are free to go. I took my paper and walked out of that court room proud!
Thank you Mellisa for calling the cop and telling him not to come ;) Your the bestest friend ever!

Court...Again...

I have my trial today at 1:00 and I am freaking out! I didn't do anything wrong but I know that they are all going to look at me and treat me like I need to go to jail right then and there. I am so stressed it's retarded. But $440 is a lot of money that I don't have. Wish me luck readers...I need it!

The Dreaded Blue Jeans.....

Blue jeans...something that hasn't wrapped my body in over a year. It felt like jeans became untouchable as most clothes did when I gained so much weight, but after months of trying to put on jeans and let down after let down going from size bigger and bigger, I found some! As you all know I have started my road to a healthy life in March when I joined Fuse fitness and I have been going every single day since then. I am trying to watch what I eat a little more and every morning for breakfast I substitute that with a slimfast as I am running to work. So far I have lost 10 pounds and several inches in some parts but i'm not sure on the exact count because I didn't measure like I should have when I started. I am very excited to be able to squeeze into jeans again..especially L.E.I ones. and I hope to continue to get smaller and smaller. Wish me luck reader! Love all of you!

Happy Birthday To Me!

May 3rd...a day that's all about me....my birthday! The past few birthdays that I have had pretty much sucked, It was just another day to me and it didn't feel special at all. The last big semi Hoorah was for my 16th, so when asked what I wanted to do for my birthday I just responded with "what we do every weekend, nothing special". This of course made Jared sad that I didn't feel like I was special enough to do anything for my birthday so he went all out this year to make my 21st over the top.

My day started out pretty early for a sunday (well at least for my sunday haha) Jared woke me up at 8:00 and was telling me to get ready because he wanted to go out for breakfast. Then we tells me that he needs time to finishing planning something secret and wanted to kick me out of the house so I threw on some clothes and went to the tanning bed so he could have a moment. After my nice warm tan, I met Jared at IHOP. When I walked in the door he smiled and took me back to our table that he had gotten and said " I already ordered for you...this will be a test to see how well I know my Boo" I laughed at him and said " you better know me, we have only been together for almost 6 years now" The breakfast was delicious! He ordered me an orange juice, stuffed strawberry french toast, hashbrowns, eggs, and bacon. Yum! After our meal he said ok well you have an appointment to be at soon so get in the car and follow me, it's a surprise. He took me to June Angel Day Spa and I got a 30 minute massage! *it was badly needed after that guy rear-ended us* He is so sweet! We back to the house so I could finally take a shower and get ready for the day but when I walked in the door there was Jared with Camera in hand and my two besties jumped out from behind the wall and yelled "SURPRISE!" They had decorated my house with streamers, balloons, and they made me a cake! They are simply the best ever! We painted our toes and hung out for a bit then we all loaded up in the car and drove to Irvine to go to Dave and Busters (for all of you that don't know what that is, it's like an adult chucky cheese with better food and an open bar.) We started the night off with dinner in the lounge and then we headed off to play games. It was finally the time for the girls to have a drink together and we did just that. (Again as I say in every post...pictures to come...) Jamie and I got T-shirts with our tickets winnings and Mellisa got a coffee mug. I told her she would need it after the drinks we had since she is a light weight drinker. :) Love ya Mel! We got home at 12:30 am and we all had to get up and go to work the next day. So we didn't eat the girls cake but it looked great. It was a wonderful birthday and I am so loved and adored by these guys and they did everything they could to show me that. It was really nice!

Visits come to a close...

After a week with my parents they had to go home today. :( It was so good to see them since it had been so long. We had so much fun while they were here though, Fishing trips, seaworld, shopping, dinners. It was just great! For our last Hoorah before they left my parents took us out on a deep sea fishing trip in Dana Point. It was so great! (well besides me getting sea sick) It was a crazy rush to get there in the morning though, the boat was to leave at 10 am and we were coming from Oceanside which is about 30 or 40 miles from there. It was no problem for us to get there but we were concerned that Jared wasn't going to make it because he had to rush to the dentist to get a gold crown put on his tooth. So my parents and I left and he was going to meet us there. The drive was beautiful and everything was going smoothly.

We got to the Dana Point Harbor Drive intersection and we were waiting to turn into the harbor and then all of the sudden the guy behind us thought that the light had turned green and he rear ended my parents PT Cruiser. I was so ticked off, I was cussing him like crazy! Well my dad was really scared to get out of the car because that intersection is so busy to he motioned for the guy to follow us into the parking lot. Well the guys didn't understand and kept honking at us like we were trying to run. We had to stop at another red light and he jumped out of his car and pulled his license plate off of our car and then got back into his car and left. He didn't care to see if we were ok or say sorry. Well since we didn't have time to mess with the situation we just let it be and rushed to our boat. Well needless to say even though it was just a small accident it jarred my back enough to make it painful for the rest of the day and today it is hurting to much! We made it on time though and just prayed that Jared would be able to make it since the ticket was non-refundable and they were a pretty penny.

We started to load and we even talked to the captain and asked him to wait. They were so nice and said that wouldn't be a problem so we went and got our bait and then went back to the dock to pick Jared up. Some of the other passengers that apparently go out on these trips all the time said that in all the years that they have been doing this they have never gone back to get anyone ever! Jared felt pretty special :) On our ride out to the designated spot there were dolphins playing in our wake it was so neat and toward the end of the trip we saw a couple of whales. When we were allowed to drop our lines Jared was quick to catch a fish, in fact he was the first person. He caught a poisionous California Scorpion Fish. It was ugly :)

After getting sick and taking a mini nap in the gully, the trip was coming to a close. 5 hours into fishing and only around maybe 20 fish later we headed back into the harbor. Thank mom and dad for taking us, that was amazing! We took my parents out to dinner to Outback steakhouse to celebrate my birthday and their last day here. It was a good meal follow by the sadness of them packing up and getting to leave. I love you guys and thanks for coming to visit!
