Just Cuz It's Wednesday!

My husband is the cutest! I can't express how much I love him!
So on tuesday morning we had a small argument in the morning before I went to work because he was being testy and thought that I took a tone with him when I asked a question and I didn't. I called him on my way to work and asked him what was going on and we came to terms. Well at work I didn't have much of a better day, customers refused to go to voicemail and kept tearing into me for stupid things that I didn't have a clue about. Well around noon I got a call on the cordless cuz I wasn't at my desk and all they said was "Go to your desk" and they hung up. So I went to my desk and this is what I saw...

I was like what in the heck....and then my Hubby came around the corner carrying a bag with a lunch in it for me. He said" I feel so bad about the way that I acted this morning and I was on my way home from my doctor appointment and saw the exit for Palomar Airport Road and had to come see you. I knew that you didn't take a lunch this morning so I thought it would be nice to bring you one and we can eat together." It was so cute! I needed that so bad from the day I was having. The red carnations smell so good.
The next day I went to work all prepared to hit the ground running. I had a "To Do" list on my desk that was about 3 pages long to prep the office for our upcoming event. I clocked in and started trying to eliminate things from the list one by one. I was there for a couple of hours when Wendy did an all call page asking me to call her because I was upstairs. She said that my husband was on line 3. "What's up baby" I said. "I'm just on my back from my second doctor appointment and thought that you might like some lunch again" Can you believe that?! He came to see me two days in a row and brought me lunch! How cute is that! When he got there Mari (the next door business receptionist) escorted him to my desk because our side entrance was being carpeted. I looked up from my computer and there he was standing there lunch in hand with a beautiful bouquet of flowers! my eyes got big and I said "Booby? What are those for?" He looked at me with the dimpled grin and said "Just cuz it's Wednesday!" I melted! I love him more than anything...I would do anything for that boy! Here are my wednesday flowers that I am keeping at my desk. He picked them out and arranged them himself!

Time Just Slips Away

Goodness...My how time just seems to slip from our grasp without realizing just how quickly it goes. It's like when you go to the beach and you pick up a handful of sand and it just slides out to nothing. That's how I feel with my lack of blogging lately. To all of you who have posted comments on my page I deeply appologize for not getting in touch with you. Not until today did I realize that they were there. Silly me!

Well, I will fill you in with some past highlights...I have been working as the receptionist at Eufora for almost two months. I have learned a great deal in such a small amount of time and I LOVE IT! Our event season is starting on sunday with hair cutting classes and things to that level. It's extremely loud at the office lately due to construction going on while we are still working. We moved some of the crew upstairs into new office space so the whole office is lingering with the smell of paint and new flooring. They are starting to knock down walls so pounding, mixed with power tools, mixed with fumes/old carpet smell doesn't do us any good. After a few hours we all have headaches and can't seem to function properly :) It's fun though because it's not even going to look like the same place. Below is a picture of the wonderful staff. the picture was taken in December.

Jared has been going through quite a lot lately. Between work and doctor appointments every day, he's worn out and stressed to his limit. His Company just came back from deployment to Japan and he was not excited in the least bit that they are home. I feel so bad for him because they all treat him like crap and make it their highlight of the day to torment him and make our life hell. I wish I could help but it would make it worse. They especially like to pick on his weight gain so he has a complex and hates himself. It breaks my heart but we work through it together. One step at a time right. His back has been doing much better from his surgery and he is well on his way on the path of healing. We just recently found out that he might have some minor brain damage from the roadside bombs that he was in. The concusion hit him harder than they anticipated and it's interferring with daily activity. They are contemplating sending him to speach therapy to help re-teach his brain to process. I love him so much!

Well bloggers...that is all for now. I will make more time to be on here more often. Much Love!

The beginning of a New Year

The holidays have come and gone and they both were wonderful! Christmas Eve I worked a half day and then we went to Dana Point to spend some quality family time with our good friend Jamie and her family. We played some games including Guess who you are, whiffle ball in the front yard, and the boys played poker. They do a game called pass around where you pick a gift from a huge pile and then you roll dice and do all sorts of things to get the gifts, it's fun little extra so everyone can have a gift. Talk about loud though lol they love to chant and have a great time. What trash talkers they are too. :) It was really fun and we are happy that she included us in the seasonal events. Christmas day Jared was so excited to spend our first christmas together that he woke me up and 7:30 to go open our gifts. It was nice to spend that time together and see the smile on his face when he opened his presents. after we relaxed for a little bit we got dressed and went to Denny's for breakfast because we didn't have much for food in the house and that was the only place open. The rest of the day we just hung out and played with our gifts. I know that we are so blessed in our lives and I am so thankful for all of the special people in them that we love so much.

New Years we had Jared's dad come to visit. He is our most frequent visitor here in California. we played the wii for a little bit and the boys went to the bar for a drink. We tend to have pretty lazy days with the playstation or wii a lot. It's a good way to stay entertained without a whole lot of money. it gives us time together and make memories. It's been raining a bit here in Oceanside for the past couple of weeks. It's off and on but we definately need the moisture. I can't wait for things to start blooming out again. It's so pretty! I hope that everyone has a happy new year and that it will be a great memorable one for them. I love you readers! have a good day!
