Wow quite some time has past since my last blog. Time has seemed to escape me while getting settled into my new job. I am loving it! I have quickly discovered that they love to eat :) Not good for me since I am trying to lose about 30 pounds but it's fun to join in their festivities. I was invited to their christmas party and rubbed elbows with top people that I am lucky to have met. Lots of italian food at that party. So Good! a couple of days later we had a going away party for an employee and this time we ordered in Greek! That was an exciting new change for me and I loved it. My new love....Pita Bread! And tomorrow, we are going to have a christmas pot luck so I made some super yummy looking cookie sandwhiches.
I am excited to have people share them. Christmas is just a couple days away and we are so excited. We are so spoiled and so blessed by friends and family members, Our tree is loaded! I will post more with pictures when I have some more time! I hope you are all feeling the christmas spirit readers and that you are loved and blessed throughout your days!

Good Things Come To Those That Wait!
So Tuesday was a really good day for me! I FINALLY got a job! and it was a job that I have been looking for/wanting for quite some time. As most of you know I have been job hunting for a decent job since January of this year so here we are almost a whole year later I finally got it. I am now the Receptionist for Eufora International! If you guys don't know, Eufora is a top professional Hair Care product that is only sold to major salons and hair stylists. If you want to know more about the company go to http://www.eufora.net/ I'm so excited! To celebrate the event Jared and I went to the Elephant bar and got a couple of drinks and a GIANT cookie ice cream sandwich! It was nice!
Christmas in the air!
Well December is finally here and it's ok for christmas things to be in stores now :) Having them there the day of Halloween was a little too much! We don't have much for decorations yet in our tiny apartment but we did manage to buy a little 4 foot tree to celebrate our holiday here in California. This is the first year that Jared and I are not going home to Wyoming for christmas and in turn that means that it will be the firt time in our lives that we will have a christmas with no snow :( It will be so weird! We also have some stockings and I have a cute snowman statue thing. Our apartment complex is doing a light contest for the patios on the 10th so maybe we will get some more things and win it. I hope that you all are starting to feel the christmas spirit and doing well your daily lives. So Crank up those christmas tunes and down some eggnog or hot chocolate and sing at the top of your lungs!

Time....
I have been meaning to post a new blog for days now but like it is for most of us, time escaped me and suddenly it had been almost a week. The holidays are creeping up on us and we don't have any preparations finished. For the last two years we have tried to be the loving couple that has taken in single marines for thanksgiving so they didn't have to sit at the barracks alone. It makes me sad that most of them sit there with no families, order a pizza, drink beer, and watch a movie. To me Thanksgiving is a time to spend with the ones that you love and celebrate what you are grateful for. SO... we took the ones that wanted to come and gave them a meal with friends, with games and movies to follow. This year is going to be a little different. The normal group of guys that come over is on deployment in Owkinawa Japan so we didn't have anyone to take in and give a friendly "home" for the holiday. we decided that we just wouldn't do the holiday for sake of time and money, and rather just enjoy each others company and be grateful doing it. We have two of the most wonderful friends though and they couldn't let us sit home and not do anything so they insisted that we are going to their homes. We can't refuse :) It's funny though because it's like we have become the single marines that are being taken in by the loving family. Karma I guess. It comes and goes just when you need it. :)

Lazy Day Afternoon
What a lazy day afternoon...I spent most of my morning reading the blogs of an inspiring woman. I have added a button onto my blog that links to her page if you would also liked to be inspired and learn her story..WOW! I finally was able to drag myself away to take a shower and clean up my in-excusably messy apt. Sometimes I wonder how it gets that bad with just two people living here. I felt like I needed a little boost while I was cleaning so I lit my apple pie candle and soon the sweet smelling aroma filled the air and lifted my spirits. and to top it all off the mellow sounds of Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe blasted from the stereo.
The weather is cooler today and the tree just outside is turning a deeper red. It's funny though because there are the same kind of tree's throughout the complex, yet this one is the only one who wants to keep up with what little seasons we have here in SoCal. I have been avoiding the call of my daily employment search, but it just kept nagging so I gave in and submitted my resume to a few companies. I hope to hear back from someone soon as I need the money. Tico has been so Onery today! I ended up locking him in his cage because he would get fluffy and leap towards me when I would try to pick him up or go near the cage to make him stop biting on the window. I'm not sure what his problem is, he is normally so loving. Perhaps I will start a collage today, It's been such a long time since I have made one. Yes perhaps I will.

Karma
I just want to say that I am so tired of the negative world that we live in. I myself isn't always a cup of tea but everything seems so negative and hurtful nowadays! I want to break free from this and just be like OK...this is me....it's a brand new day...and I am happy! I am Blessed! I am on a mission right now to make myself become a better person and to rid my life of those people who seem to just keep trying to drag me down.
A whole new beginning
So here I am...starting a whole new adventure of blogging that was brought upon me by my sister and her inspiration from what seems like a wonderful woman. I began to dig deeper into the blogspot life and saw countless old friends and familiar faces who looked so cheerful and full of life. It put a smile on my face to see how well everyone was doing and just how much I miss them. It amazes me that everyone is growing as individuals and starting beautiful families. I hope the best for them all. As I sit here in my Southern California apartment with the sun shining upon my face I feel very blessed.
I have a wonderful family that I love so much and I wish that I were able to see them more.
I have an amazing husband whom I love with all of my heart, He is my Hero!
Not to mention the most fabulous friends on this planet!
And who can forget my feathered child...an African Grey parrot named Tico who makes me so happy. I can watch him for hours and yet he still surprises me and makes me laugh.
I am very excited to start my blogging journey and this is just the beginning.
