Grotto Falls

Close to our house there are several different waterfalls that you can drive/hike up to. While Will and Marshall were here, we decided to go to Grotto Falls. :) We got subway sandwiches and headed up into the hills. They have the path paved up until you get to the lake but after that it's about a 2 miles drive to the parking lot type area, and then a mile hike up to falls from there. It was absolutely beautiful. The only thing I didnt like, was the amount of horse flies trying to attack you the whole time.  We can't wait to hike to the other falls before summer ends.

The trail was beautiful!

Everyone took the other trail so I was left to enjoy it alone. :)

At last we reached Grotto Falls!

Jared dove into the glacier like water SEVERAL times. We all thought he was crazy.

Even Max got in the water and didn't like how cold it was. He wanted to join in and play but instead he stayed on the rock for fear that the water would touch his junk. Can't say that I blame the dog!
